THIS INFORMATION IS OUTDATED AS OF 9/2/12. PLEASE GO TO THE PROMOTION BOARD FOR THE UPDATED INFO. THIS WILL BE KEPT HERE AS AN ARCHIVE OF PREVIOUS INFORMATION!
Every Saturday in the top shelf of the inner war quarter, we will be hosting a promotion ceremony for the forsaken who deserve it. But how do we figure out exactly WHO deserves it? I have come to the conclusion that everyone in this guild has a voice (and a keyboard) and they should be put to good use.
However, for any of this to work, I ask anyone in the apothecary to PLEASE lend a hand. Whenever you witness one of the Deathguards doing their job properly, PLEASE ICly mail Bolsar with the name of the Deathguard and their deed along with it (See below).
Lieutenants and above have the same power to recommend lower ranked individuals.
Based on the feedback I receive, I may decide to promote said Deathguard to the next rank on Saturday. The apothecary (as well as anyone at or above the lieutenant rank) may ALSO send in negative feedback that can hinder promotion, so please watch yourself, since every action will decide your place in the Hand of Vengeance.
The "suggestions" must include:
-The Full name of the Deathguard + Their Rank
-At least two sentences explaining their deed (Could be longer) .
-The recipitent must be High Executor Bolsar.
-Must be sent via Ingame mail, and the letter itself must be IC.
An Apothecary member may only hand these out if:
-They are not being bribed to promote a guard.
-They are not using the vote to bribe the guard.
-The deed being done is "official" on-the-record work.
(ex. Law enforcement, Defending/Dealing with apothecary members.)
ALSO! PLEASE note that Deathguard promotion decisions from the rank of Private to the rank of Lieutenant will solely be based on what your character does ICLY! OOC deeds and contributions will NOT play a role. (Roles that are assigned officer ranks, however, must be subject to OOC judgement. This is for obvious reasons. We will not assign officer ranks to people who can't handle officer responsibilities.)
Thank you for reading, and good luck members of the Deathguard!
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or concerns!
