Application Outline
Role Playing
Tell us about your character and their history:
-Nichole was originally the illegitimate daughter of a minor Lord who owned and lived close to the Lordaeron-Quel'thalas border. Unlike her legitimate half-sister, Nichole was killed at the hands of the Scourge and became on of their minions. She was not an original member of the Forsaken, but gained her freedom after the Lich King was killed. While she was free she wasn't aware the Forsaken even existed until she wandered a bit too close to a patrol. She has been living alone in the Plaguelands up until fairly recently. Now she wishes to help the Forsaken.
How well versed are you in Warcraft lore:
-I'd say I am fairly well versed. Especially in Human lore. I am not as familiar with the lore of Tauren, Night Elves, Trolls, and Draenei as much as Human (including undead) lore and Orcish lore.
Do you know much about apothecary RP (Don't be afraid to tell us no! We aren't looking for people that know everything after all. Learning about it is fun too!) :
-Apothecary specifically? I am fairly familiar with it. Mostly Alliance side though so it is fairly minor compared to Forsaken Apothecary RP. I am also willing to learn.
What resources have you used to learn more about lore/RP:
-Mostly Wowpedia and some WoWwiki. I prefer Wowpedia for Lore. RP, I've been in the First Regiment and use the Moon Guard Wiki on a regular basis.
General
What is your character's name? (List your actual in game name as well so we can find you! ;D ):
-Nichole Crette (Crette in-game)
What class and level is your character:
-Warlock, currently level 91 and leveling.
What other guilds have you been in:
-The First Regiment-Moon Guard, Apostasy Accord- Moon Guard, First Cohort-Wyrmrest Accord. I was also in an Orcish clan that I can't remember much of on Wyrmrest Accord and another criminal related guild that I can't remember on Moon Guard Alliance.
You
How did you hear about us:
-I used to be a casual RPer back when this guild was originally the Hand of Vengeance. Saw you guys around a lot. Even helped in some RP-PvP with permission from some of the people leading the event. Also think I remember doing RP-PvP with you guys on the Alliance. Not sure about the latter.
Why do you want to join TLoV:
-For starters I know that you guys are a heavy Forsaken RP guild and have been around for numerous years. I have wanted to branch more into Forsaken so I can also flesh out the lore of some of my different characters.
How active are you:
-Fairly active. May disappear from some events for a while but still log in casually. Every now and then I just lose interest in the game and other times I want to be logged in every single minute. I will still log in when I am having an inactive streak and will probably chat with people.
What do you think it means to be part of a guild:
-Well, the base of a guild is friendship or getting along. It doesn't really matter what a guild does as long as there is friendship behind it.
Optional Bonus Questions
Give a brief history of the Forsaken:
-Originally a part of the Scourge they gained their freedom when Illidan began to melt the Frozen Throne and make the Lich King lose control on some undead. Sylvanas was the leader of this group and eventually secured the ruins of Capital City (and the scourge constructs under it) from the Alliance and the Scourge. After that she built the Forsaken into a true faction that could survive another day. Sylvanas tried to find allies and found them in the Tauren and eventually joined the Horde.
How do you include the biology of undeath into your RP:
-Unable to have kids and most likely not willing to have romantic relations with others.
Give a history of the Forsaken plague and the events in Northrend:
-The Forsaken began developing the plague in Vanilla. Until Northrend (when I started paying more attention to Lore) I realized that they were making the plague the entire time. A rogue Plague Doctor (Putress) used it to destroy the Alliance and the Horde and sided with the Burning Legion in an attempt to stage a coup. Ever since the Forsaken have been watched carefully. I guess now that Sylvanas is the Warchief the bindings have been lifted.
How has your character accepted the changes made in the Horde after Pandaria was found?
-My character has recently discovered the Horde. She has not heard of Pandaria yet. She may look at it as a place to test new ingredients and probably make new. Most likely more damaging than the New Plague. She wouldn't care about the political stuff very much.
What about Draenor? Has your character ventured through the portal?
-Once again, my character has not heard of Draenor or even Outland yet. Like Pandaria she will most likely want to experiment with different objects and chemistry.
How does your undead feel about the changes within the Horde and the new warchief?
-*Spoilers* She hasn't heard much about Vol'jin or shed very many tears over his death. She will be happy to have Sylvanas leading not just the Undead. Especially if there are no bindings to her work. She'll probably thing Garrosh was a tyrant when/if she hears about him.
Which do you think is more awesome? Dinosaurs or Dragons?
-Dragons.
