Tell us about your character and their history:
Saccius is a former High Elven ranger who was killed during the Scourge attack on Quel'Thalas, and was raised to fight as a member of the Scourge. Once having regained control and joined the Forsaken, Saccius was determined to never speak of his past. Instead, he choose a life of tinkering with bombs, guns, and machines, and, on occasion, taking up the random mercenary job for some extra gold and to prove how lethal he can be with a bow and arrow. However, given the recent events unfolding within the Horde and throughout Azeroth, Saccius believes its time to join with his fellow Forsaken and put his skills to good work.
How well versed are you in Warcraft lore:
Pretty well. I have been playing the game since 2005; therefore, I have followed each expansion's lore quite closely in addition to reading up on the events occurring in Vanilla and Warcraft I, II, and III.
Do you know much about apothecary RP (Don't be afraid to tell us no! We aren't looking for people that know everything after all. Learning about it is fun too!) :
Truthfully, I know very little. My only exposure to apothecary RP was during the Wrath chain in Dragonblight that culminated with Wrathgate.
What resources have you used to learn more about lore/RP:
For lore, I predominately use WoWPedia, but for RP it would vary from Addons such as TRP3 to guild websites such as yours.
General
What is your character's name? (List your actual in game name as well so we can find you! ;D ):
Saccius
What class and level is your character:
Hunter, Level 100
What other guilds have you been in:
My alt is in the Alliance guild The Devilclaw.
You
How did you hear about us:
Moon Guard Forums.
Why do you want to join TLoV:
I have really enjoy the lore of the Forsaken that started in Warcraft III, and has been developed throughout WoW and its expansions. Therefore, I would love to have an opportunity to become a member of a Forsaken-centric guild to be apart of a community with similar interests within WoW.
How active are you:
Pretty active. Anywhere between 4-7 days a week.
What do you think it means to be part of a guild:
Ultimately, a guild is a community that allows players to come together, and partake in the enjoyment of a common interest. Moreover, the community helps members further their interests within the game, and the members help the community further the overall interest of the guild. Lastly, some of the best guilds I have ever been apart of have been there for members in times of distress. I have sometimes seen this achieved by simple words of encouragement, and I have seen it achieved by friendships being forged in real world.
Optional Bonus Questions
Give a brief history of the Forsaken:
To sum up a very long story, once Arthas, as the Lich King, sat atop the Frozen Throne, his powers slowly began to dissipate. Thus, consequently, losing partial control of the more distant Scourge sources, such as the ones in Lordaeron. As a result, Sylvanas rallied many of the newly freed undead, establishing a capital in the crypts of Lordaeron, which Arthas intended to make a capitol for the Scourage, and thus forming the Forsaken.
Fast forward to WotLK, as the Forsaken are helping the Horde fight the Lich King, Grand Apothecary Putress stages a coup with the dreadlord Varimathras, and took control of the Undercity. Prior to the coup, members of the Horde help the Grand Apothecary Society create a blight that affects both the living and the Scourage. Putress ultimately used this blight against the Horde, Alliance, and Scourage at Wrathgate, which triggered the beginning of the coup. The Horde and the Alliance both launch independent assaults on the Undercity removing Putress and Varimathras. After WotLK, the Horde imposed guards to monitor the Forsaken, and forced the Forsaken to attack Gilneas.
How do you include the biology of undeath into your RP:
He uses it as an advantage over his targets. Be it by camping out in a lake waiting to seize the opportunity of surprise, or by "playing dead" and waiting for the target to drop its guard before launching an arrow through the target's head or heart.
Give a history of the Forsaken plague and the events in Northrend:
The Royal Apothecary Society began to develop the Forsaken blight, which, as I mentioned above, affects both the living and dead. When the Horde and the Alliance begin to attack the Wrathgate, barrels of the blight were thrown from the cliff decimating the Horde, Alliance, and Scourage, The attacker? Grand Apothecary Putress. After Putress' attack, Putress and Varimathras staged a coup in the Undercity, which nearly killed Sylvannas. Shortly thereafter, the Horde and Alliance each staged their on assault on the Undercity where the Horde killed Varimathras and the Alliance killed Putress.
How has your character accepted the changes made in the Horde after Pandaria was found?
Saccius was quietly furious, but followed the lead of Sylvannas.
What about Draenor? Has your character ventured through the portal?
He ventured through the portal, but never left Ashran. He had no major interest in the events unfolding throughout WoD.
How does your undead feel about the changes within the Horde and the new warchief?
He's skeptical. Ultimately, he believes Garrosh's vision of a "pure" Horde will come to fruition with the Forsaken and Blood Elves being either thrown out to fend for themselves, or being turned upon and wiped out.
Which do you think is more awesome? Dinosaurs or Dragons?
What about Dragon Dinosaurs?
