Role Playing
Tell us about your character and their history:
Kenneth was considered a nuisance by nearly all his former comrades in his previous life, save for his parents: Grayloth and Theodora Ke'tar. His lax, laid-back attitude vividly showed his carelessness for serving the army, which his peers found quite deterring. Being the commanding officers' son at the time only worked in his favor, the malicious man taking every opportunity he had to mess with those who mocked him.
Originally a musketeer in The First Regiment, Kenneth himself knew he wasn't cut out for the job. His eventual father approached him personally, persuading the naive private to redirect his interest in archery. Kenneth listened to the elder, and would later become his adopted son after abandoning his biological, noble family. His dedication to his new parents showed when he followed them in the creation of The Fighting Fifth.
How well versed are you in Warcraft lore:
Well enough! Ner'zhul was the big bad guy, right?
Do you know much about apothecary RP (Don't be afraid to tell us no! We aren't looking for people that know everything after all. Learning about it is fun too!) :
Aside from the Royal Apothecary Society's involvement with Varimathras at the Wrathgate, no.
What resources have you used to learn more about lore/RP:
To be quite honest, a good majority of my Warcraft knowledge stems from my dear friends. The rest comes from playing Warcraft 3, coupled with loosely following the questlines in-game.
General
What is your character's name? (List your actual in game name as well so we can find you! ;D ):
Kenneth (Kenners).
What class and level is your character:
Monk, 100.
What other guilds have you been in:
Brace yourself.
Former guilds: The First Regiment, The Fighting Fifth, The Fireborne, and The Dawnfury Concordant.
Current guilds: Dominion of the Sun, The Eastern Offensive, Order of Everstill, and Dor Serrar.
You
How did you hear about us:
I participated in the last Tournament of the Ages, and precisely recall karaoke night with Sibelius. Never in my life have my ears been so blessed with such a voice. And, of course, the sovereign Tendael himself has spoken of your guild consistently.
Why do you want to join TLoV:
I've been curious about the Forsaken scene for a while now, and figured no better time to involve myself than the present.
How active are you:
Usually online daily, if not, every two days. It varies heavily with my work schedule.
What do you think it means to be part of a guild:
To support, represent, and be a part of an exemplary, ideal community of players.
Optional Bonus Questions
Give a brief history of the Forsaken:
The Forsaken were created under their soon-to-be leader, Sylvanas Windrunner, following Arthas' retreat to the icy reaches of Northrend. Prior to this, the former high elven ranger would enact her revenge on Arthas by nearly killing him after breaking from his necrotic grasp. Following her return of sanity, many more undead would shatter their weakening bonds to the Lich King. They rallied under their newly-entitled Banshee Queen, vowing to slay Arthas.
How do you include the biology of undeath into your RP:
Kenneth is a freshly risen corpse. He isn't too adjusted to the new lifestyle just yet, but I, his controller, do incorporate a good number of his bones showing through his crimson, leather armor. Not only that, but it is ensured that I roleplay Kenneth as a creaking, skinny Forsaken with several decay scars scattered about his body.
Give a history of the Forsaken plague and the events in Northrend:
As it was aforementioned, the forces of the Alliance and the Horde temporarily coalesced to invade the Wrathgate in Dragonblight. Their plans were quickly disrupted upon the Royal Apothecary Society's entrance, devastating the gateway's entire population with a barrage of plague-related weapons. Nearly all, if not everyone of them died except the Lich King, who promptly returned into the safe confines of his territory. Due to this betrayal of a supposed Horde faction, lots of people found it very difficult to trust the Forsaken.
How has your character accepted the changes made in the Horde after Pandaria was found?
Kenneth was still a perfectly live human during this time. He found the Horde's changes opportune, actively encouraging minor movements for a chance to strike at the Horde's core while they were weak. During Garrosh's tyranny, he only testified to the idea of the Horde being untrustworthy, rampant creatures.
What about Draenor? Has your character ventured through the portal?
Kenneth feels Draenor to be an entirely fascinating planet. He ventured through the portal with The Fighting Fifth, and found the new land quite intriguing.
How does your undead feel about the changes within the Horde and the new warchief?
Kenneth always preferred trolls for politics, since the others had proven unreliable races. He supports Vol'jin's efforts enough to be considered a member of the Horde, yet dedicates more of his time serving the Banshee Queen.
Which do you think is more awesome? Dinosaurs or Dragons?
Drago-saurs, by far. Used to ride them back in 'nam.
