Application Outline
Role Playing
Tell us about your character and their history:
Vance lucien, or Vance, was from a small village outside of Gilneas; near the Greymane wall. His family ran a small shop filled with tonics and various curealls within the village.
He worked with his parents for much of his life, until the plague of Undeath swept through the land. The Undead had attacked the village, and inside his home he was slain by the waves of undead, being nothing more than an Apothecary, he wasn't able to defend himself very well.
He had been reborn as one of the forsaken himself. He took in this new information as if it were just a fact of life, rather than a life-shattering revelation. Later, finding his sister, he learned that she had also been reborn as one of the Undead. He decided now, to learn more about shadow magics, in addition to his Alchemy, rather than overwriting it. He is still an Apothecarym, even in Undeath.
How well versed are you in Warcraft lore:
Probably an Eight or Nine. Any facts I can't retain, I have written down to bring up when I need them ICly or otherwise.
Do you know much about apothecary RP (Don't be afraid to tell us no! We aren't looking for people that know everything after all. Learning about it is fun too!) :
This is one of the subjects I don't know a great deal on. I know enough about it, but I'm not afraid to admit I don't know everything.
What resources have you used to learn more about lore/RP:
WoWpedia/wiki, Dev Commentaries/"Blue posts", GM tickets, knowlegable friends, resource books, quest text, and card games.
General
What is your character's name? (List your actual in game name as well so we can find you! ;D ):
Victorlucien
What class and level is your character:
Rogue, level 40-ish. I level fast, so this isn't a big issue.
What other guilds have you been in:
I mained Horde for quite a few years, but when I started to roleplay I joined Alliance. So as for Horde guilds, I haven't been in any. On Alliance, I've been in The Ishuran Legacy, Flames of Nocturne, Gathering of Ravens, and either or both Silver Hand guilds.
You
How did you hear about us:
Mercilla and Antumbryn!
Why do you want to join TLoV:
I made this character for the purpose of joining the guild, actually. This is my only "real" horde character.
How active are you:
I play daily.
What do you think it means to be part of a guild:
My ideas on guilds are skewed when compared to most. I see it more as a group of friends or family, and don't feel bound to just one sect of people, but anyone I enjoy hanging out with oocly.
Optional Bonus Questions
Give a brief history of the Forsaken:
There once was a man with a sword, much destruction he wrought. When his father went down, so did the town, and then the queen of the dead was crowned.
How do you include the biology of undeath into your RP:
Victor keeps himself well kept, even if he isn't very strong he has his sister for that, so he doesn't need to be. He might lose a hand here or there, and sleep in a coffin, but generally considers himself to be intact. He may be slightly delusional.
Give a history of the Forsaken plague and the events in Northrend:
While the war against the Lich King waged, a coup was formed in The Undercity, with Grand Professor Putriss at the head of it with Varimathras and an unknown master, more than less likely being The Legion. A plague was formed to kill the scourge. But it wasn't ACTUALLY made to just kill the scourge, but all life. Scourge. Forsaken. Alliance. Other Horde. Saurfang The Younger and Bolvar went down in clouds of green, one became a Death Knight, the other became the leader of Scourge.
How has your character accepted the changes made in the Horde after Pandaria was found?
Pandas, man. They're soft, but they bite if you try and touch them. How sad.
What about Draenor? Has your character ventured through the portal?
I haven't experienced much of horde quest lines yet, but my brain works fast, and I'll probably say yes to this question and come up with something that doesn't seem implausible in the next few weeks.
How does your undead feel about the changes within the Horde and the new warchief?
He is loyal to Sylvannas, he cares little for politics, and answers his queen's command.
Which do you think is more awesome? Dinosaurs or Dragons?
Dinosaurs, duh! Dragons are so overplayed, and in WoW they just seem like some cult of lizards who does things when the plot calls for it. Dinosaurs, however, are the TRUE kings of the jungle. A group of intelligent Devilsaur could take over a town, and build a giant throne out of the crushed roof of the Auction House.
