Requirements for Officer (Blight Zealot) rank within the Hand of Vengeance.
• Character must be at least level 75 to be an officer.
• The character must attend at least one guild event each week. If there are no events posted on the calendar (which would be rare) then the person must sign up for one of the next available events that is posted later in the month.
• The character that you pick to become Blight Zealot must excel at his/her profession ICly within the guild (Apothecary, Plaguebringer, Deathguard, Shadowstalker etc). This process usually requires several months of RP in order to obtain the profession such as Plaguebringer and Plague Doctor.
• Officers are required to PvP with the guild, as this is a heavy RP/PvP environment.
• A Blight Zealot’s PvP item level should be at least 550. This is the MINIMUM requirement. 550 is the item level for the Season 15 PvP gear, which is now obtainable through Honor Points. PvP gear is required for instanced PvP events such as War Games, however in some scenarios PvE gear may be acceptable for world PvP events.
• Officers must make at least one event every month. This is a small requirement, as there are so many days in the month! Zealots can even co-host events with others if they wish to do so. Attending other events can even count as guild involvement (though I encourage creating your own events too!).
• To become a Blight Zealot an officer must be within the guild at least three months.
• Blight Zealots must have TWO profession skills (herbalism, tailoring, blacksmithing etc). Archeology, first aid, fishing and cooking are not included.
• Officers MUST check the guild website periodically for any applications that may have been added.
• An officer must also perform interviews for the applicants when they are presently needed.
• Officers must be present during cross faction vent meetings as well as the Vyper treaty meetings. They will be posted on the calendar so everyone would have a heads up.
• If a guild member is requesting help, any officer is required to assist them be it running dungeons, helping with quests etc. (Within reason of course. Officers can say no if the person asking is all “Do this please, do that please!” )
• Officers are also required to remove any members from the guild that are in violation of HoV guidelines and rules of regulation, under the three strike process. If the person violating these rules has reached their third strike, said officer must remove them from the guild.
• And this one is above all most important. An officer is required to talk to the other members as -equals-. They are just as important as the rest of the guild and help make us all what we are. Rudeness to other members will not be tolerated, especially from officers. It is the officers job to show how great of a guild we are, and how welcomed everyone is. Indecent behavior will not be accepted, blight zealot or not.
